ABOUT ME

Hello Everybody, my name Donovan Edwards. I am a Wyoming native and possess many talents. I design jewelry and clothes. I am a singer/songwriter, and as you already know I am also an indie author/publisher. My next venture is becoming an enerpenure.

for now I would like to share with you the reason I became an author and how my Denver Demon Series came about.

From early childhood, I have been plagued with terrifying nightmares. The nightmares would make any horror movie from Hollywood look like a Disney film! I believe that those nightmares were brought on by all the paranormal activity that followed my family and I no matter where we moved to. My folks were not religious or church-going people. However, I would often go to church with friends and neighbors. I knew from the depths of my soul that the paranormal activity that was haunting my family was of a demonic influence.

The things we would see and hear were beyond terrifying! So much so that I would beg and plead with the pastor and other members from church to come to visit and rid my family of the demonic activity. With much trepidation, they finally agreed to a home visit. They never cleaned the house. In fact, whatever presence was there scared them all so badly they left in hurry. They agreed on the presence that plagued my family was demonic and suggested I pray. I was so distraught and angry at what I felt was abandonment by my church that I never went back!

Whatever the presence was had attached itself to me when I moved out from my parent's house. The paranormal activity intensified the more I sought to rid myself of it. Then one day I met a deliverance minister who specialized in spiritual warfare as she called it. With her help, I was finally able to confront the demon and break the spiritual and generational ties that bound us together. I learned my folks had unknowingly opened a door through their activities that allowed the spirit to enter. I still have experiences with the paranormal and I still have those horrible nightmares but rather than allow them to haunt me I now turn them into stories or books.

About The Denver Demon Book Series

The Denver Demon Series is based off horrific nightmares and true life experiences I have had with the paranormal. The combination of those to factors is what makes this book series truly terrifying! However, I didn't want to write a book that people would be to afraid to read so I added some characters and elements that would lighten things up a bit. In doing so I was bale to add some humor as well as love story. Although the overall story-line is frighting through the use of some strong and well placed characters I was able to tell this mind bending story in such a way the reader is able to see it through the character's eyes as well.

Most of the characters in the books are based on real people I know and love. This adds an element of realism and to each character. Having bases each character on a real person enables the reader to identify and relate to the characters. They feel as though they know them personally. They begin to develop feelings for characters and in turn are able to see and feel what each character is seeing and feeling as if they are there in the story with them.

I have received countless e-mails and letters from fans who often tell me that they have become emotionally attached to one character or another. I have received phone calls from the people I based the characters on, saying things like, "I knew the minute I read this that character was me!"

BOOK 3: REVELATIONS

Currently on hold, while I continue to work overtime at the hospital to help the sick.

I’ve been working on this latest release for quite some time now, and can’t wait for you to read it. The second book had to top the first therefore, this book needs to its absolute best! Denver Demon Book 3 will be the third installment in a series of supernatural thrillers. I have even planned a prequel down the road.
